Best of Alicante Mobility Scooter Tour

Discover Alicante in a unique, comfortable and effortless way on this guided mobility scooter tour designed for cruise passengers, seniors and visitors who want to experience more of the city without long walks.

Accompanied by a friendly local companion, you'll explore Alicante's most iconic landmarks while enjoying the freedom and comfort of an easy-to-drive mobility scooter. This relaxed small-group experience combines history, culture, spectacular coastal scenery and authentic local atmosphere, allowing you to discover more of Alicante in less time.

Your journey begins at Alicante's waterfront, conveniently located next to the cruise terminal shuttle bus stop. From there, you'll travel through the city's marina district, home to luxury yachts and the famous Volvo Ocean Race heritage.

The route continues into Alicante's historic centre, where you'll discover the magnificent Town Hall Square, the famous Zero Level Benchmark used as Spain's official reference point for measuring altitude, and the charming streets of the Old Town. Unlike traditional sightseeing vehicles, mobility scooters can comfortably access many pedestrian areas, allowing you to explore parts of the city that are inaccessible to regular traffic.

You'll visit the beautiful Plaza del Abad Penalva and admire the impressive Concatedral of San Nicolás before continuing through Alicante's vibrant city centre and cultural district, passing the historic Teatro Principal and the iconic façade of the Central Market.

The tour then leads to Alicante's most famous landmark, the spectacular Explanada de España. Lined with palm trees and decorated with its world-famous mosaic pavement, this beautiful promenade perfectly captures the Mediterranean spirit of the city.

Following the waterfront promenade, you'll enjoy breathtaking coastal views before reaching Postiguet Beach, where one of Alicante's most iconic panoramas awaits. From here, you'll admire the magnificent Santa Bárbara Castle rising above the city from Mount Benacantil, creating one of the most photographed views in Alicante.

Throughout the tour, there will be opportunities to stop for photographs, enjoy the scenery and learn about Alicante's history, culture and local life from your companion.

Whether you're arriving on a cruise ship, enjoying a holiday in Alicante or simply looking for a comfortable and enjoyable way to explore the city, this experience offers the perfect combination of sightseeing, accessibility and Mediterranean charm.

What to bring

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing appropriate for the season and bringing sun protection, especially during the warmer months. Alicante enjoys over 300 days of sunshine each year, so sunglasses, a hat and water are highly recommended.

Don't forget your camera or mobile phone to capture the spectacular views of Alicante's waterfront, historic centre and Santa Bárbara Castle.

Cruise passengers should carry their cruise card and any identification required by their cruise line.

No previous mobility scooter experience is required. Full instructions will be provided before departure.
